Policy

The Bristol-Myers Squibb Pledge is the overarching policy regarding our economic performance. for our company. Most importantly—through our commitment to focus, innovation and compassion—we want to provide new hope and help for patients facing serious health challenges.

Our economic performance can be measured through our investment in world-class research and development facilities, where we are looking for new and better treatments for cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses and conditions. It can be measured through our history of successful partnerships to develop and deliver important new medicines to people who need them. And our performance can be measured through our efforts to help expand people's access to quality medicines and health care, through worldwide public/private partnerships like SECURE THE FUTURE® -- our pioneering $150 million HIV/AIDS initiative in southern and western Africa -- and programs like the Patient Assistance Foundation and Together Rx Access.
