  • In a former Squibb site operating since 1954, a new plant was inaugurated in 1999 at the San Angel site, for manufacturing penicillin and cephalosporin products and packaging anti-cancer products.
  • The Mexico corporate offices are also located at this facility.
  • The facility manufactures products for customers in Mexico, Central and South America.
  • Total production capacity is more than one hundred million units per year.

  • Employees who stay safe and healthy on the job can better fulfill their family and community commitments. The San Angel facility is proud to report the following achievement in safety:
    • At the end of August 2006, 995 days with no recordable accidents.

Environmental Performance Top of Page

  • San Angel is a pioneer of I-Gemi, an environmental nongovernmental organization that provides leadership in environmental affairs in the country.
  • San Angel plant is working in a program called Partners in Growth-Competitive Chains, which helps key suppliers to comply with environmental regulations and develop eco efficiency projects. This project is being held in cooperation with the Commission for Environmental Cooperation of the North America Free Trade Agreement. This program is according to Sustainability 2010 goals. San Angel plant has received recognitions from SEMARNAT and PROFEPA, Environmental Ministry and Agency of Mexico for this achievements.
