NOBLE PARK, AUSTRALIA
WORLDWIDE MEDICINES
Facts and Figures

Economic Development
- The facility contributes to the local economy through employee wages
and benefits.
Community and Social Progress

Environmental Performance

- As members of the National Packaging Covenant, we are reviewing our
packaging materials and look for any opportunity to reduce packaging
or use environmentally friendly alternatives.
- All BMSA company cars have been signed up for Greenfleet, and the
company is meeting half the membership contributions for employees who
take out memberships to cover their personal vehicles. For every membership
vehicle, Greenfleet plants 17 native trees that absorb the annual green
house gas emissions from vehicles. In addition, these trees are planted
in the Murray Darling basin, which is an important threatened ecosystem.
The native trees planted help to reduce salinity whilst providing a
habitat for endangered species.
- The facility has adopted the Brush-tailed Rock Wallaby as part of
the company's Sustainability 2010 goal to encourage each facility and
business to help protect endangered species and habitats.
- We are continually striving to reduce our impact on the environment
through recycling. A new solvent waste process in the laboratory has
led to significant improvements to water waste quality.
